SAGGA Glazing Certification Procedure

Glazing Certification is an on-site process, conducted directly at your location. We service the St Francis Bay & surrounding areas in the Eastern Cape Kouga Area.

The Building Inspector in the different Metropolitan Areas requires Glazing Certificates before issuing the Home Owners with Occupancy Certification.

How to obtain Glazing Certification:

 SAGGA Membership

a Glazing Certificate can be issued by a registered SAGGA Member

• SAGGA Members create their own Glazing Certificates for the installations they have started and completed with a unique login Username & Password, also provided by the AAAMSA Group
• Once payment or proof of payment has been received by the AAAMSA Group Accounts Department, instructions are given to the Certificate Department to release the Glazing Certificate

Non-SAGGA Membership

a Building Contractor / Architect / Quantity Surveyor requesting Glazing Certification on behalf of their client and are not requested to register as SAGGA Members follow the procedure set out below:

• An Inspection Indemnity Form will be emailed through for completion with all the site details
• An Invoice will be sent through for authorization & payment
• Once the AAAMSA Administration Office receives the Proof of Payment the regional Consultant will be instructed to make contact with the client to meet on site for the inspection
• Post the inspection, an Inspection Report is drafted and submitted to the Inspection Applicant (person who requested the inspection)
• This Inspection Report can then be handed to the Building Inspector for Occupancy Certification to be issued
